HV Transformer

Ideas for what?

You're right about 20% higher voltage. That also causes 20% higher flux
density in the core, but that one is rated for 50 Hz, so 120 @ 60 has same
flux density as 100 @ 50 ( 120/100 * 50/60 =1), so no problem there.

The 5 V winding is actually 5.2 at nominal input, so it's really going to be
about 6.3 V.

I think the secondary is 1100 V nominal so high input would give about 1320
ac output which would give approx. 1870 VDC with a bridge or 3740 VDC with a
doubler.

Remember the transformer is VA-rated, so the current should be reduced by
the ratio 100/120. 400 mADC hv winding becomes 333 mADC, the 15 A 5V winding
is now a 6.3 Vac 12.5 Aac winding, and the 14 Vac 1ADC winding is now 16.8
Vac @ 833 mADC.

Those are intermittent ratings.

Subject: HV Transformer

I have a Hethkit 54-1063 that is the export model for the SB-1000, with
100-200 V primary. It's my understanding if used on 110-220 the HV will be
approx. 20% higher. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks in advance.
