Those shouldn't be all that hard to replace, what with the wide variety of
diodes available (cheap!) on the market these days...
Even if you have to put several in series in replace the one (to SAFELY
handle 2 KV), the current capacity would be MORE than satisfied by whatever
you might choose, I'm sure.
Take a look at the power supply chapter in ANY edition of UNDERSTANDING
AMATEUR RADIO for a more practical read on these basics...
