SB-221/220's...ten meter mods...

I have an SB 221 with the ten meter mod, and an interesting letter from
the factory....The previous owner obviously ordered all the necessary
"factory" parts from Heath....Heath recognized this in a return letter,
advising the owner of the need for a valid amateur radio licence, and
the fact that the modification "could not be supported" by Heath.
Furthermore, Heath voiced it's disagreement with the FCC ruling, hoping
it would be overturned shortly.  Heath sold him the parts anyway...an
interesting bit of trivia...
