SB-1000 driven by solid state exciter?

Shouldn't be a problem. I am using one with Yaesu's FT-920. On my rig there
is a switch on the back to configure it for relay switching. Don't know if
that's the case with the 757.

Subject: SB-1000 driven by solid state exciter?

Hello to the group.
Can anyone offer opinions if it is safe for a Yaesu FT 757 to drive an
SB-1000 linear without using the yaesu relay box. Is the SB-1000 modern
enough to not draw all the current through its switching relay?
Thanks for all comments and info.
