Fred,

Those 6LQ6's alone make the thing worth some hefty $$$, assuming they're all
good, of course!

Funny how 30 years ago such things were made with "economy" sweep tubes, and
to-day they're practically gilded with gold, price-wise!

Subject: 15 meter transmitter?

Anyone ever hear of a sweep tube set made by D&A? The following aprears on
the front panel :
D&A Scottsbluff
PDX-400
15 Meter C.W. Transmitter
There are tuning controls for drive, plate tuning and loading, high and low
power, standby. xtal socket. Rear panel has input for VFO plus key jack,
power out SO 239.
There are six paralled 6LQ6's in one group of tubes and a group of 3 in
another. There is a lone 6LQ6 plugged into the Osc. section that has no
plate cap connection. (Using the screen as a plate?) or wrong tube. It
lights up. Weighs about 50 pounds. Light brown panel, dark brown cabinet.
Would like to see a schematic or manual for this. Looks like a CB wanta be.
Thanks for any help. Fred W7PRV
