SB-301 Query

I had one in my SB-301 do this.  After removing the
LMO from the unit, I "played around", including
lubricating the unit.  All of a "sudden" the stops
loosened up and the LMO went back to turning the
proper 5+ turns.  It seemed that there was some sort
of corrosion that was binding the mechanism.

This was occuring when the dial was being turned
clockwise.  But, I would think that it could occur no
matter which way the dial was turning.

locks solid . This is when disconnected from the
indicator. It takes about  5 1/2  turns on my 401.
