Movie "Frequency"

There was quite a discussion about the movie "Frequency" right after it came
out.
There were also several other errors reported. Since you mentioned QSL
cards,
did you notice that some of them were old CB cards?

A couple of months ago, I was watching the movie "Rat Pack" on HBO. This
movie was about
Sammie Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin. In several scenes in
Frank's office, you could
see a Heathkit tuner and a Heathkit amplifier stacked up on top of each
other behind his desk.
The ones shown were about 1970-vintage units.

I was surprised to see that the radio, "transceiver" used in the movie
Frequency was a receiver.... an SB-301. They had so many thing right,  QSL
cards, 15 meters, CQ,   nice beam, speaker,  how could they have gotten that
wrong, using a receiver as a transceiver?
