Heathkit Cantenna Question

Ohmmeter will tell you right away if something fishy is going on, but,
hmmm...will an SWR bridge tell you something? I 'm not sure now if it will,
if the resistor is purely resistive...but mismatching 50 ohm coax, do you
see reflections ? I think I woul dcheck with an ohmmeter to determine if
resistance increased or decreased then use SWR (assuming a resistive load of
other than feedline impedance does show an SWR) to evaluate characteristics
at RF...SWR alone wouldn't tell you if it was high or low.

Say, RF noise bridge or impedance bridge would give you the impedance....if
you don't have one, hopefully another local ham does.
