Cantenna Resistors

I would ask the resistor mfr about compatibility with various available
oils. I recall a reason not to use motor oils, but I don't remember
what...it might have been flash point.

And food oils are undesirable from a stability standpoint. Oxidation or
hygroscopic (accumulation of water) properties might be issues with yet
other oils...each oil is made for it's specific purpose...if there is a
significant difference between xfmr and mineral oil when running near the
extremes of the Cantenna rating, it's possibly, even likely other oils will
behave differently at extremes.
