Hi Rich,
Yes it is a real shot when you finally lick the problem. Have restored
SB-101's , HW-101,s and lots of other Heathkits. The first thing I do is
clean, clean, clean. I use dish soap and a stiff brush. Cover the holes
on the IF cans with tape to keep water out. Remove meters, speakers and
other parts that could be damaged by water. Really bad ones and mil spec
items go in the dishwasher. Does a great job. Keep up the good work and
