IG-72 informayion, please?

Hi, I just bought an IG-72 audio generator off ebay. I
downloaded the schematic and the unit works fine now.
As to internal adjustments, the meter control is self
explanatory, but the oscillator adjustment is not.
Would some kind soul provide the manual page that
describes the oscillator adjustment, ot simply provide
a short description? Thanx much.

One other question... I am not a Heath collector, I just
wanted an audio generator. Pilot light on the unit was
burned out. Since I didn't have a pilot light bulb handy,
I just substituted with an LED, diode and resistor. This
will certainly outlive the unit (or me); but the question
is, have I violated the sanctity of the unit in the eyes
of 'true' collectors?
