Good morning group:
Just purchased a SB-102, knowing it had a bad band switch
(arcing). I was able to remove the grid driver board, and repair
the switch with a Dremmel tool and epoxy. That seems to have
worked fine. However when receiving, while tuning the LMO, it
sounds very garbled,& lots of birdies. It is possible to tune a
station, but very hard. Almost sounds like a "wobble". Also very
low output. On CW, about 40 watts on 80 m.,to about 5 on 10m. Any
quick ideas on a good place to start looking would be greatly
appreciated. Trying to save a very good (cosmetically) SB-102.
Thanks in advance.
