SB-220 question

I am in the process of purchasing a nice clean SB-220. The problem that
surfaced is that it appears to  present a high SWR to the transmitter and
with modern rigs may be a problem.

I visited Rick Measure's website and reviewed the following article:

It notes that this HIGH SWR is a class problem but is easily correctible by
changing the Q of of the stock SB-220 from 1 up to 2.

I am curious if those who use the SB-220 with newer rigs have made this mod
successfully??? What has been your experience with the SB-220?

By the way I am planning on using this with both tube final rigs (SB-301,
DX-60B, and Ten Tec Corsair)
