It is sad to see another general electronics magazine die a sad death. I was
looking for some info in the Aug 1969 issue last night. Her Bryer's (W9EGQ)
column every month gave many hobbist a taste of ham radio every month. I was
a SWL at the time and the SWL column was always something to look forward to.
I also still have copies of the "COMMUNICATIONS HANDOOK" it issued yearly.
That showed catalogs of all the ham, SWL and scanning stuff on the market. In
addition a intro to each phase of the hobby. Strange my 1971 issue has the
prepaid card for a catalog missing. Wonder how that happen.
