Todd -

Telex purchased both Turner and ElectroVoice.
"Believe it or not" this microphone is still in the 2003 EV Microphone
catalog (but its not made in Cedar Rapids, IA)

Here is the EV microphone catalog (Adobe Acrobat) - 44 pages [link may
wrap - so you may have paste]
http://www.telex.com/Electrovoice/EVFiles.nsf/0/f55d8f53b40d732386256beb005ac55e/$FILE/NEW_EV_Microphone_Catalog.pdf

Go to page 14 in this catalog (General Purpose Microphones)
They are now all dynamic element low impendence -
but a step-up transformer could be used for Hi-Z input

Model # 253 - former Turner model

Model #US622L - former ElectroVoice model (late model Heathkit days)

On page 15 is Model 450D - former Turner hand microphone (one of my
favorites ! )

US phone number: (952)-884-4051
