Gerry, I'm guessing that they're some sort of surge arrestor (hence the
"SA"). The symbol sounds as though it resembles that for a gas tube
device but I'm not positive.
If they're not darkened or otherwise nuked and don't measure any
appreciable conductivity with an ohmmeter they're probably safely ignored.
