Heathkit Green

My SB-Line (SB-301/SB-401) suffers the same malady.  I've heard it said that
Heathkit used whatever mix they had in the gun at the time they painted SB-
faceplates.  It seems that the newer SB- units had more of a blue-green face.
I've seen two diferent shades of green in the older units.

In any case, don't use anything other than a mild soap and water to clean them
if you suspect that nicotine and dirt is responsible for the shade
differences.  I've seen the silk-screened labeling disappear with harsher
cleaners.
