The HW-16 used last night never appeared in the original Andy Griffith Show
series, as the unit was not in production then.  It might have been in the
later Mayberry RFD series, but I have never seen it.  The original radio
was an Eico novice transmitter.  It could be seen in some of the original
shorts shown last night and on the series re-runs.

Various models of Motorola radios also appeared throughout the series 8
year life.
