Heathkits - NEW - Unbuilt

Sounds interesting - can you provide some details on why the 4000 unbuilt kits sat in a warehouse for over 15 years.

This is to let anyone who is interested, that I represent a gentleman who
acquired Heathkit's entire inventory when they went out of business in the
mid 80's. He has 4,000 unbuilt, factory sealed, Heathkits sitting in a
warehouse here in Toledo, Ohio that need to be sorted-out and inventoried.
Most of these will be put up for sale. Some he intends on keeping for his
personal collection. This task should be accomplished, hopefully, by
mid-September. If anyone is looking for anything specifically, please
contact me with model numbers and I will be in touch. All items will be
priced in accordance with the "Heathkit Bluebook" at:

the bottom of the page.
