Earlier this year I ordered a rebuilt toner cartridge for my laser printer
from a company in Thornhill Ontario Canada.
I live in Nepean (Ottawa) Ontario Canada.
Received the item by FEDEX very promptly.
Two or three days later, I received a bill in the mail for cuctoms
"brokerage fees".
HUH!!!
I called FEDEX and told them where I lived and where the item was ordered
from...
a rebuilder in Thornhill.
The item should NOT have even left Canada!!!
The documentation clearly stated that the toner cartridge was
remanufactured in Canada.
After a bit of discussion, they cancelled the fees.
Haven't heard anything since...
BUT...
It's Canada Post or US Postal Service for me from then on.
