accuracy of HM-2140 watt meter

Say has anyone out there ever checked the Heathkit HM-2140 wattmeter against
a Bird.
A marine service technician in San Francisco( quite a number of years ago),
said he checked the HM-2140
and it compared quite close to the Bird. Any comments!!
