MT-1 Transmitter questions

Although I haven't rebuit my "new" MT-1, the one that
I used back in the 1964 to 1967 time frame was pretty
good. In fact, after my DX-100 power transformer
started having problems, I modified the MT-1 to use
with a Heath SB-10 SSB adapter. It worked fine. In
fact, was very stable for its day.

On AM the modulation is "controlled carrier" which
isn't the greatest. But, for its day it was
acceptable quality.

I didn't use the MT-1 much on CW but again it
performed OK.

Before adding the SB-10 I ran the MT-1 and MR-1 mobile
using the vibrtor power supply from a Motorola T44AAV
(didn't have a Heath HP-13!). Mainly used on 40
meters and got out very well especially early in the
morning (just after dawn).

Does anyone here have experience with the old MT-1
AM-CW transmitter? I would like to know more about
them.
