Final Neutralization in HW-101

[Davies, Doug A FOR:EX]

I read somwhere that 6146B's are the preferred final tubes to use in the
HW-101 but they must be neutralized with the plate and screen voltages
disconnected.  Can someone explain why this is so?  I have a choice of the
B's or just straight 6146's for this restoration I'm doing so would
appreciate a comment or two on this.  Thanks.
