Thanks for all the suggestions.
When I tune up the 520 into a good 50 ohm load, it peaks out to a good 100w. Then when I connect it to the SB 200, I have to turn down the drive to keep the grid current at 100ma max. Will the 572B's handle more than 100ma. on the grid?
The plate current pretty much stays in line, usually around 400ma. I could go to 500 but I don't. There is a good match between the exciter and the amp, I have an swr meter between the two. The amp does have tuned input circuits for each band. I haven't checked the meter shunts.
