Heath 5001 weather computer

I have a 5001 weather computer that is non functioning due to a lightning strike.  There is no visible damage, but the unit will not light up or do anything else than count  time on the clock.  When powered up, the display shows all of the display and will start the clock, but will not respond to any input.  Is there anyone out there that works on these units?
