"Heathkit" name?

Actually, most of the "metal" looking ones (like on
the Apache, etc.) were nothing more than painted
plastic.

I have been trying to make a mold that would allow the
reproduction of these nameplates (most are all of the
same size).  However, so far, I have not been able to
find a material that makes a good reproduction when
used with the available plastic casting materials.

I have been able to come up with various Heath dials,
crystal doors for the DX-35 / DX-40, etc.  But, the
nameplates have been a bit of a problem.
