BAMA (Free)

The advantage of BAMA (and especially the mirrored site) is
the quantity of the manuals and that it is fee for
downloading. In the past the resolution of some scans was
poor but with better scanners the quality of the recent
uploads is usually very good. The problem of access has
pretty much gone away with the mirrored site.
I use XP with SP2 and two different browsers: Internet
Explorer and Mozilla Firefox (preferred) and use the
address: http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/ . I always
download to my computer's memory or desktop. Firefox
defaults to downloading to the desktop. The DJVU plug-in
only works with IE and is used off-line.
A faster method is a FTP Client such as WS_FTP Pro with
which you can download an entire folder with ctla-A or
shift-click. The FTP Client has no means of viewing and can
only download to memory but is very fast. The numerical
address of the FTP-BAMA mirror is 216.24.174.245 .
I routinely use any of the three methods and find then all
reliable.

If you use Win Xp with the SP2 update you might (as I have
to) right click
and choose "save target as"and put the schematic on your
hard drive and
retrieve it later.
