Be careful that what you put on does not cause and becomes harder to remove than
what you were trying to remove. Silver Oxide is a very good conductor, that's
why silver is used. Not because silver looks pretty, its not jewelry!
Remember: All that glitters does not radiate!
Clean of the dust and grease with DeOxite and leave it alone!

Jelmar (a local company here in Chicago area) now has a Tarn-X "HandiWipe"
product. This product contains thiourea, sulfuric acid and a detergent. It
will only remove the tarnish (on the silver).
You MUST completely clean product off the inductor after removing tarnish.
READ ALL instructions with this product, Cautions, warnings and protection
must be observed to prevent poisoning or damage to skin or eyes.
I have not used a silver polish (Silver Glaze) after cleaning.
