SB-303 & SB-401

Heath used 24 inch long RG62/U cables for the BFO,
LMO, and Heterodyne oscillator connections. The
antenna connection was RG58/U, and the other
connections were shielded cable.

I have used RG58/U in place of the RG62/U with the
SB-301 / SB-401. However, there does seem to be more
drive available to the transmitter when the correct
length of RG62/U low capacity cables are used.

I do make interconnect cable kits for the Heath gear
as well as other manufacturers if you don't want to
make them yourself. Check the Zcomco website the URL
of which is listed at the end of this message.

The last set of these i had used RG-62 coax to connect
the two together. But this one came with Radio Shack
audio cables. It works but don't think thats good or
the Heath company would have told you in the manual.
Any comments on this will be appricated.
