Hi Terry,
I just went through this same thing with a SB-303
and Sb-401 that I just got, about a week ago....
I did use two pieces of RG62 cable cut at 24
inches long, and the rest of the cables I used RG58,
except for the speaker cable, and for that I used zip
cord.... It worked absoulty perfect.....
I found the instructins on how to do this in a
SB-401 manual, that I downloaded from the BAMA site
http://bama.sbc.edu/.... OR more exactly
ftp://bama.sbc.edu/downloads/heath/sb401/ and click on
the PDF folder to download.....
It took me several tries to download it, but I
finally got it.... ON the pages of this download, it
shows in diagram detail exactly what cable goes to
what and also how to use the radios in a transceive
fashion....
I hope that this is helpfull.... It fixed me up
110%, and the radios worked perfectly together....
Also it show alignment procedures, I didn't dare do
any of that, and mine is perfect as they are, by just
making uop the cables.... Oh you will also need the
RCA connectors too for the end of the cables.....
This download is well worth it, it will answer
exactly how this is done.....
     Very best of 73's......
                                    Claude WB4WHH
