SB-102 question

Greetings,

You should not have any trouble at all if you change both caps to 470mfd.
The caps made today are of much higher quality than those made when the
SB-102 was built, and of much closer tolerance. The 470's should work just
fine.

All the best for 2006.

Subject: [HEATH-TEMPE] SB-102 question

Greetings all,

I'm refurbishing a SB-102 transceiver and found that
one of the 2 500mfd, 25v electrolytics in the LMO
power supply is a dud. Trouble finding the same value.
Would i be able to change both caps for 470mfd and
what trouble would i run into doing that.

Thank you to all and Best Wishes for year 2006.
