HD2257 Crystal Diode

HI group. I have a heathkit  EK-1 radio that I am rewiring. The text  calls 
for a hughes HD2257 Crystal Diode. i cannot find any crossreference for it  in 
the EKG or other cross references. Does anyone on the group know where I can  
get one or one that can be substituted for this diode. Thanks for any  help.
