Complete Heathkit SB Station for sale - PICKUP ONLY

Summary:

If you are interested in a nice Heathkit SB station, a HW-101, a bunch 
of spares and some Heathkit test gear for $999 USD, AND you can PICK IT 
ALL UP in London, Ontario, Canada (about 2 hours drive from 
Detroit/Toronto/Buffalo) then read on, otherwise hit delete. I am NOT 
interested in splitting it up or shipping it at this point.

Details:

I am thinning out the tube stuff from my heathkit collection. I had 
picked up all these pieces over time with the intent of eventually 
restoring them to pristine "new" state but as I am planning to move to a 
smaller house in 2 years and there is a bunch of other things I want to 
do (atv, satellite, PIC development, etc.) I am thinking that I may 
never get around to it (and they are taking up too much space in the 
meantime) so I am letting all my tube gear and spares go.

Specifically the following pieces (pics are of the ACTUAL items):

SB303 Receiver (actually transistorized, matches the '401)

There are manuals for everything which are included.

As you can see they are in pretty good shape with no bad dings or extra 
holes. Everything works except the SB-401 (I think it is the finals) and 
the HW-101 transmit power is pretty low (but have had good on air 
contacts with it).

I am including the following goodies with the package for FREE:

  2 - SB-401 parts rigs (one a bit stripped)
  1 - HW-101 parts rig (a little rough, but complete and restorable)
  1 - spare HP-23
  1 - tube caddy with a bunch of tubes (uninventoried, some applicable, 
some for trade)

This test gear makes a great companion collection for display or use 
(some of it works, all of it is complete and restorable).

I also have a tube tester that I will consider an offer on if you take 
everything else, but is not included in the package deal.

I am only asking $999 USD FIRM for EVERYTHING listed above (you can tell 
the XYL that you got it for "a few hundred" :-) and at this point do not 
want to split it up. I know I could get more by splitting it all up and 
eBaying it, but would rather see it all go to a good home as a family 
and only want to break even on what I have invested.

You MUST PICK IT UP in London, Ontario, Canada sometime this summer to 
avoid the risk of damage and save shipping charges. London is about 2 
hours drive from Detroit/Toronto/Buffalo, so if you are in Southern 
Ontario, Eastern Michigan or Northern Ohio, Pennsylvania or New York 
state this is a realistic option. Even the Washington DC, New York City, 
Boston area is not out of the question for a weekend trip. You could 
always convince the XYL to join you on a nice weekend getaway to Canada, 
maybe see Niagara falls ("gee honey, I forgot to mention that I have to 
make a little stop to make before we head back" :-)

This is an INCREDIBLE offer if you want to go from nothing to a complete 
classic Heathkit SB / HW station for a very reasonable price. Please do 
not try to bargain me down from $999 USD, I think that is an INCREDIBLE 
deal for what you are getting.
