Some of the early Heath test equipment had "pin" jacks (solid tips 
~3/32" dia. used on headphones, primarily) rather than "banana" jacks 
(center pin with four bowed, springy outer shell pieces.)   The photo of 
the O-5 in the 1950 Heath catalog isn't clear enough to tell for sure.

There are also at least two sizes of "banana" plugs, one slightly 
smaller than the "standard" size.
