Jack -

I believe that you are referring to the RF probe that Heath sold as an option with their VTVM.  The Lake Country (IL) hamfest that I attended in September 2004 actually had 2 of these.  I purchased one at that time for $ 2.00 

They are out there, and some do appear on eBay from tiem to time.
