Slightly off topic

Motorola has made dozens of different types of
microphones over the years including those for
mobiles, portables, and base stations.

Just saying that you fund a Motorola microphone
doesn't mean anything except that the chances are that
the microphone is low impedance (also called "carbon
compatible).
