LM383 is a 5-pin TO-220 packaged audio amplifier of 7 or 8 watts output
(depending on maker) which has been discontinued. However, TDA2002 is a
readily available direct drop-in 11 watt replacement. Chipdocs.com lists these
as possible cross-references: TDA2002, 15-3015131-1, UPC2002, AE920-4,
ECG1232, NTE1232, LM383, ULN3701Z, UPC2002V, CA2002, LM383T. (I added a
couple.)
