SA-2040 Routine Maintenance

Hello all,

This is my first post to the reflector, but I've been following it for a
while ("First time writer, long time reader..."?).  I have, among other
pieces, an SA-2040 tuner, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a
lubricant for the cap and inductor shafts, as well as the nylon gears for
the turns-counter.  I am reluctant to put a petroleum based lube on the
mylon, for fear that it will interact and ruin the works.
