Using the SB-10 with the DX-100 required drilling a couple of holes for
SO-239 sockets and doing some rewiring. When the DX 100B came out,
knockouts were included on the chassis for modifying it for use with the
SB-10. The Apache then came along and it
was designed to be used with the SB-10 without any wiring modifications.
