I finally got my website(s) back up.  There are a
couple of small things that I still have to do but all
of the old articles are now up.  A single website now
replaces all of my former websites.  From the home
page you can chose the K9STH site (which has all of
the articles including the one on the 6146 family of
tubes and the "olde tyme" QSL artwork), the Z
Communications site (which has the various things that
I make for boat anchors including the interconnect
cable kits), and the final site is a personal (family)
site that is just starting construction.

The website is on "GoDaddy" and I used their website
design for dummies software.  Therefore, no fancy
graphics (there were none on my old Comcast sites).

There is one "quirk" of the software and that is when
you use Internet Explorer the text files come up
"normally" and have the back arrow to return to the
previous page.  But, on Netscape or Firefox (don't
know about any other browsers since I don't use them)
the text files come up in Microsoft Word and they do
NOT have the back arrow.  You have to either shut down
or minimize the Word to return to the previous page. 
I have no idea as to why the GoDaddy software does
this.  But, since the price was right (less than $5 a
month) I can't gripe too much!

I have tried to get as much of the old information on
the new website.  If there is something missing and
you would like me to see if I have it on one of my
computers (much of the early stuff was on the computer
that is out in my main shack and I had to transfer it
to this computer which is connected to the Internet)
then let me know and I'll try to find it and get the
article on the "new" website.

The GoDaddy "webdesign for dummies" (that isn't the
"official" name but is really what it is) software
will NOT let you upload any html.  It "blocks" the
uploading of anything with either an htm or html
suffix.  If you "fool" the software by putting a
"faux" suffix it will upload.  Unfortunately, the file
will NOT display properly.  Therefore, you are "stuck"
with using a "doc" file format for text.  Graphics
work fine and I usually use JPEG.

The "www" is NOT required although adding it will
still allow the website to be accessed.

Take a look and let me know if you want me to look for
any additional articles.  I will update the site when
I have some new material to add.  Also, I really don't
want to hear about how simple the site really is.  I
am NOT a website designer (never claimed to be) and
the main idea was to make the articles that were
popular available as soon as possible.
