Greetings group -- I'm trying to put a newly-acquired PS-3 regulated
power supply in proper condition. The problem is that one portion of
the circuit overheats badly, and apparently has done so for a long
time. It looks like the unit was built in 1957 or so, used a little
bit, and then put awey until now. Anyhow, although it is a
simple, circuit, it isn't an AA5, so I need help. If there is anyone in
the group who has a properly functioning PS-3, I would appreciate a
contact and then I can go into detail using the schematic describing
what troubleshooting I have done. There are no voltages shown anywhere
for the circuit; that doesn't help. Appreciate any and all advice.
