R390A--off subject..., but not completely....

Anyone have any experience with repairing an R390A?  Once this one's off 
my bench I have a DX-100 and a W5M to sell--but I want to test them 
first.  I've tried to contact Chuck Rippel on the r390a.com website, but 
my messages keep bouncing...If you have some experience with the R390A, 
let me know and I'll describe the problem off list....
