Japanese code of components

Dear Heathkit members;

I have some problem to find some substitution and replacement parts with our European component numbers.

I have a few transistor components with the next Japanese indications on it.

I have to change them including same types NPN or PNP

    1 transistor with the inscription :           D571               NPN or PNP type ?

    1 transistor with the inscription :          C945                  NPN or PNP type ?

    1 transistor with the inscription :          C1400/E944    NPN or PNP type ? 

 
We use hier European numbers like BC or BD,BF and so on it ! (example BC 337)
