  Subject: Orlando HamCation GREAT!!!!

HamCation is over for me... couldn't make it today.

IT WAS GREAT for me.....I'm exhausted of course.

So many of you came by to say hi. I spoke to sooooooo many people that,
at my age (hi), it's hard to separate them all. However, each time I
meet any of you again helps me separate the faces and calls. I remember
faces best, especially the "smiles" and gracious ways you guys (and, of
  course, gals) are.

I'm proud to be a part of the Ham Radio Community. You are ALL great.
  THANKS AGAIN FOR COMING BY.

All the Heathkit guys are a great bunch. The Heathkit and the Florida
BoatAnchors Listserver's are wonderful and great sources of help, not to
mention camaraderie. A special thanks to Bry, AF4K and Walt, N4GL.
These two groups are absolutely phenomenal.

Also, I want to recognize "my bro".... W5SJ, Bill Priakos. We grew up
together from little kids, got our tickets together, etc. Also, David
"Doc" Colburn, KD4E. Bill and Doc were great and worked very hard
  manning "our tables".

Some of you may know David Gerner, KI4RCF. He seemed to have a really
good time too. A "new ham"... you should have seen him... just like a
  kid at Christmas time.

Then there were: Joel Harrison, W5ZN, President of the ARRL, who came
by. Not to mention many others who you all may recognize. Like Martin
  F. Jue, K5FLU, owner of MFJ Industries. They are both very gracious and
  wonderful people... "hams".

The Orlando Amateur Radio Club should be VERY PROUD of the HamCation.
They ALL did a great job and I, for one, say to them, "thank you very
much for your devotion to help further ham radio and it's wonderful
  community".

Hope to see many of you at Brooksville this very next weekend, Feb.
17th. I may or may not tail gate.... we'll see.

  Bob, W5EUQ, Tampa

PS... forgive the "partial repeat on FL BoatAnchors"... missed including
  somethings I needed to say...
