Hi Wally,
Not sure what you mean by "inner gears", maybe you a referring to the
bushings? The bushings are made out of teflon and have small o-rings
that hold them in place. The reed switches should be easier to find,
but since I didn't need to replace any, not sure where to find them
(maybe Digikey, or Mouser?). Their glass body (not counting lead
length) is about 20 x 2 mm in size.
Anyway, the anemometer sender is much simpler on the inside then the
direction sender. It only has a single board with one reed switch,
and 4 magnets on the rotating shaft. I have a photocopy the whole
manual, so if you need any info out of any pages involving the
outdoor sensors, I'll be happy to scan them for you.
