Nope - there wasn't one. I have one paired up with a NC-173 - the receiver I
used as a Novice (with a DX-20).
A GOOD RX was/is a LOT harder to build then a good TX. So - anything from
that era would be appropriate - SX-? NC-? 75A-? HQ-?
It wasn't until the scratchy Apache TX-1 that Heath made a matching receiver
- RX-1 Mohawk.

Subject: [HEATH-TEMPE] DX-100 mate
Hey All,
Could someone please tell me what the mate receiver was for the
DX-100? I know that anything could be used but what was Heathkit's
'ideal' or advertised receiver suggested to go with this transmitter? I
am in the early stages of planning an AM station using the DX-100 and
the purist in me wants it to be right. Thank you in advance.
In His service,
Jim Cundiff KB3GFC
