1410 keyer ?

If your HD-1410 keyer will not key your 440 then more than likely one of
the keying transistors is bad. Try switching the wires on one end of the
cable from the keyer to the radio, ground wire to center and center to
ground on one end of the cable ONLY. If this works then one of the keyer
output keying transistors is bad. The HD-1410 keyer will key either
positive or negative keying "without" having to rewire the keyer cable.
There are limitations on the polarity keying voltages. Read the keyer
manual to ensure you are not exceeding the HD-1410's maximum positive or
negative keying voltages. If you do not have the manual you can download
it from bama free.
