1410 keyer ?

Here is another possibly:
The HD-1410 requires a mod in order to key many newer radios out there. This is from page 57 of the manual:
"This keyer is designed to be compatible with most rigs that use solid-state keying circuits as well as those that use grid block or cathode keying. However, some solid-state keying circuits require the key line to be brought within a few tenths of a volt from ground to operate properly. If this keyer will be used exclusively with one of these rigs, remove R27 and diode D5 and replace them with jumper wires. This will reduce the voltage drop to the Vce of Q6."
