Winter SB-230 Project!

Hello all,



I have the case of an SB-230 arriving on Fed Ex on Thursday. This unit
is minus the transformer and tube. Have heard of several people using
different tubes in these and I bet there are a few lying around that
have been given up on. I could sure use suggestions as to what to do
here and maybe a good price on the transformer and tube ideas. I know
some have used Svetlana 8560AS tube but I don't have any documentation
on how this was done. Socket would need changed. I see three different
sockets available for that tube and have no idea which one would be
best to use at all.
I'm open to suggestions on this one!
