Guess I better post this to the list. Randy Kaeding ("The only ham still at
Heathkit"), sent me this data:

To change the IF frequency to 455 kHz:
Resistor R1 needs to be 820K
Resistor R2 needs to be 100K
Capacitor C3 needs to be 260 pF (two 130 pF in parallel)
Capacitor C4 needs to be 75 pF
Coil L3 needs to be Heath Part Number 40-775 (This may be the hard part to
find. According to the Bill of Material this coil is 123 uH.)

Try to get one that matches your radio's IF. The parts are very hard to
find. The original kit had all the required parts for the various IFs.
